Ive road by my self most of my life, i still have fun usually end up sparking conversations with random people ive made a lot of friends biking and caused a bung of people to get into it xD

Ridden alone plenty of times, when you really get to practice a trick you want

Try a different style of riding. If you usually ride street, try dirt or flatland?

I don't make up excuse God damn hop off my stuff every time I turn around you gotta comment on my stuff don't you see by now I don't like you I'm not making up excuse I been riding by myself for a year now and seeing how other people ride by them selves or maybe some one will see that I love by them and be like hey I live by you , you wanna meet up and ride some time I mean like damn

People won't ride with you if you seem immature. I can comment wherever i would like, i find it quite funny that you get upset to be honest.
I've spent atleast a years worth of riding alone, sometimes i get stuck with people when i want to ride alone, atleast then you can move a little faster and not have to worry about others keeping up.


Get out and ride where others would, you're bound to see someone on a bike sooner or later, that's how i've made some of my best friends.

That's a list of skateparks in Kentucky. Drive to one or have someone drive you, I don't really care how or if you get there. Go to one and ride, make some friends, ride with someone(s), whatever. But bitching on an internet forum isn't gonna help you find someone to ride with. If anything, it will deter anyone in your area from wanting to ride with you because instead of looking for someone in your relative area, you're just complaining.

honestly riding by myself is great cause i get to fall on my ass and get to try again without a whole bunch of people posting me on instagram but really the only thing riding with people got me is to push myself to do some pretty retarded stuff

when your a beginner, and your riding alone and you dont really know how to do tricks, its really hard, I know its the same thing for me... watch a trick on youtube... go out try and pull it, fall on your ass. and nobody can tell you what you did wrong. Trust me I know it sucks.... try filming yourself practicing some tricks at home, build a small qt pipe if ya fall, watch the vid and try again... just get better. and then things will be more fun at the skate park

I usually only ride by myself now, most of my riding buddies stopped because they started families and shit (they're all older) it does suck sometimes, i've noticed i lost alot of motivation to ride lately because of it amd i just cant get into park riding because i dont get along with the kids that are usually at my local.

I just try to make the best of it and enjoy the riding time i get as much as possible

I hardly ride with my friends, because we live too far apart so I mostly ride alone. On rare occasions I go to my nearest skatepark (Lively Skatepark in Irving, TX); it's mostly full of skaters and some scooters the times I've been there. I do see other riders in my area, but as I pass them by I usually just nod my head or say "sup", while going in a different direction.

I think most rider's my age are lonewolves like myself. I also see many young riders, however they just avoid me or go away if I enter the area. If the younger riders ever chatted with me or asked for some advice I would oblige them, but that never happens maybe because of our age gap it makes it seem awkward. My wife told me the younger riders probably avoid me, because of my scary mug or mean looking demeanor (I don't know you tell me, that's actually a pic of me on my profile pic).

I do enjoy riding alone; riding BMX makes me feel like I'm in another dimension. When I'm on my bike I feel like I'm God (not saying my skills are Godly though). BMX is my Zen or something like my way of meditation. And when I do see other riders, even though I don't really hang or socialize with them; I feel like they are my brother and I wish them well with all my heart.

I've ridden by myself for 5 years.

Ride flatland solo. That's what I do.

This is actually not true. Sometimes just the spots get you burnt out, or if your bike is running like crap, or even if you're just not feeling it that day.

I have been riding longer than most kids on here have been out of diapers, and have more love for this sport than you could imagine, and I am smart enough to know that it doesn't matter how much you love something, sometimes you just need a break to help you appreciate it more.

There is such a thing as TOO MUCH. Perhaps the OP is burnt out on spots, or his bike runs like crap, maybe he just is tired of doing the same thing day in and day out. Changing it up helps, but regardless, boredom comes with everything.

Don't believe me? Play the same video game almost daily for 1-10 hours a DAY for a year. By yourself. No online gaming. Then come back and tell me it was amazing the whole time.

I'm not bitching I'm just seeing how other people keep with bmx when riding by my self and you and koxxy aren't helping but all you other guys thanks for helping I'll try y'all ideas like build a half pipe or film myself

I used to ride by myself all the time, it sucked sometimes but i had fun figuring out how to self film stuff and exploring spots by myself. A lot of people just started riding so i'm almost always with someone now and it is fun, but riding alone is fun too. Make the best of what you have.

At skateparks or with friends you can try shit and not worry if you get hurt because they'll help , if you're alone in a random spot no one might find you . Also you can learn or try shit they're doing and open your minds. Some bikers I know , I didn't like being around because they were assholes and not having fun like me , even though they were better.

I love riding by myself. I do it more than riding with others. Its relaxing to put in some ear buds and just start cruising. I can see it getting boring if thats ALL you do. Try finding locals on facebook? I've met people on fb and rode with them the next day!

My first and only edit was self filmed. Or like 95% of it atleast.

I ride alone pretty often. I use it solely as practice time, or i do stuff i really like to do over and over to make it even better.

Like when i started i'd ride all night sometimes, learning to hop higher, learning 360s, manuals, anything that takes practice, i'd do. Not like dropping shit usually. I have to atleast have my brother there to film the nutty stuff.

Like lately, since it is so damn cold all the time in the winter, i ride by myself. I chose to start practicing hang fives. I started when i could barely do them and now im getting a few parking spaces. 2-4 right now, which isn't too bad bc i started at the beginning of september.

So use that alone time to practice and get really good dude. You're completely free of people criticizing your riding so its fun to just do cool stuff you like doing.

On the other hand, i do prefer riding with people to riding alone. Because thats the time to show the people what you learned and then pick up stuff they do too! Riding with others i usually pick up stylistic things, like how they do a 360 or something. Overall it is super helpful both ways. Riding is fun with or without people /thread

Yeah much feelz, I ride by myself 90% of the time. If some kid asked me if I wanted to ride with him I would say hell no. Just becuz idk when u get used to having no friends thts when bmx really gets fun. /thread
