It is worth it? I'm getting a flat tire for literally twice for month and it's pissed me off. I was looking for some new tube and I discovered the rim tape so I consider the question.. It is really worth it or no?

I always thought rim tape was like a standard thing. It came with my rims. I highly recommend rim tape because if you are tweaking your spokes, or you land extra hard, your spokes could literally stab through your inner-tube. It's a good investment in my opinion

I don't see why it would hurt either. Some might say it is unnecessary for BMX. It is definitely standard in the MTB world

I've never not had rim tape, it's a standard thing on all bikes. I'm surprised you don't get blow outs constantly if you don't use one

It really does! It's a bit thicker then standard rim tape. It gets the job done.

Haha that works too. I have Kevlar rim strips on both my wheels.

Get some for sure. It works great and it's cheap to get installed at bike shops if you can't do it yourself. So why wouldn't you?
