So I have been having this problem where my ring finger on both hands hurts from riding. I'm wondering if it could do with my handle bars or that I ride ODI long neck grips. I ride Sunday solar bars

Maybe it's because your ligaments in the hand are stretching and that one is the tightest in both hands?
Not sure though I've never heard of this happen before.

I've been riding everyday multiple hours a day for the past 2 years don't think anything needs stretching. I do have some really long skinny fingers but Idk if that would change anything.

Look into carpel tunnel syndrome. I've developed a bit of this myself lately, along with a herniated disc, and extreme back pain. man i just turned 31, and I feel like I'm 60.

How old are you? It might be your fingers letting you know that soon, everything will hurt all the time.

BMX over 30: Eat clean, Stretch, and Pray.

Take your rings off?

But seriously, maybe try bars with different sweep. Or if your grips are flangeless, and you ride brakeless, turn your grips around, and hold the wide bit with your thumb and forefinger

Most definitely not old enough for that to be happening

Are you wearing rings on those fingers by any chance ? I'd say that's definitely the problem if you do. If not try backward finger stretching before riding and while riding just hold the stretch for 30 sec - 1 min, should help you.

Your bars have only got 1.5 upsweep, try 3. More bars should have more upsweep imo

I get calluses on both hands where my ring finger meets my palm. They often tear and cause me serious pain. Not sure if it has to do more with bars or my hand shape. I have hitchhikers thumb so it may be from the lack of mobility there. Was no different when I was wearing a wedding ring (don't have that anymore.)

But that's the index finger or index and middle finger if you're weird and use a finger for each.

I switched to wearing silicone rings for my wedding band and its helped a lot. Used to hurt a lot when I eould hop with a wide silver ring on. Try some silicone rings.

My fingers are starting to hurt this summer. I just got new bars and grips. New bars are similar to the old ones but the grips are 32mm in diameter, a little more thick than what I had been riding. Just ordered some thinner grips( 29mm diameter), hopefully that will do the trick. Also, since its been so hot my hands have been sweating more than usual, I could be holding on too tight and straining my fingers while trying to make up for my hands slipping. We will see.
