Ok, im not going on a road trip, but i think im going to tokyo in july (ish) so my question is, can i, and how if i can, do i take my bike? If I dissemble it will i fit it in a suit case? any suggestions welcome. I cant go and not take my bike :L

Either do it the legit way by paying extra money to ship the bike or use a golf bag.

It's because golf equipment has no charge and is part of regular check-in luggage (luggage weight limit still counts unless you pay for extra weight). You'll have to pretend that your bike is golf equipment. You can use a suitcase if it actually fits too though. As long as they don't know it's a bike.
