Don't know what this will start but why not buy the ones that hang in the back? I'm getting one of those for my new car and I found a used roof rack to tempt me but I'm still getting the hatch one because I think it's more convenient

I don't feel comfortable with those things. I know people that have had theirs break on the highway and i almost lost my bike to one of them. The straps came undone.

Yeah that is why I was considering a hitch, but then I plan on trading in my tc eventually so I didn't want a hitch on it
