I am originally a skateboarder and in the skateboarding community...There were a lot of riders that would actually run 'no insoles' in their shoes to get 'better board feel'.
I also run/jog too. And sometimes...I will run my jogging shoes (nike running shoes) with no insoles for a much more 'natural feel'. In my opinion...it makes the road/pavement feel a lot more sensitive and in return makes the shoes feel more 'responsive' under my feet.
Do riders run no insoles in freestyle BMX in order to get a certain feel or more response/sensitivity to the bike/pedals...?
