Running shorter spokes was a bad idea....

As the title says, I didn't have any proper-sized spokes and had to end up running a set that had a few shorter spokes. I was surprised my wheel setup even lasted for a good half a year. I went to practice feeble hard 3's and under-rotated a and landed super nose heavy, and 5 of my nipples ended up breaking off simultaneously. Usually spokes break by the spoke head in the hub flange, but in my case, the nipple heads broke because my spoke threads probably didn't even make it all the way through all of the nipple threads. Lesson learned, longer spokes are probably better in the long run, unless you're still gonna be jumping 10 sets every other day.

And I forgot to mention the fact that my wheel totally came untrue and jammed itself in the fork, causing me to get thrown off the bike as the spokes blew out. Fun. Had to rebuild my wheel today and I still have like another 4-5 shorter spokes in there. Looks like someone's gonna have to ride a whole lot more carefully and cleaner for a few months at the very least...

My feeble *hard* 180's are almost locked on now, and with more air, I have time to push and level out, which had always been my problem on flat.
