How exactly would your spleen rupture, like what type of crash? just a big slam? on the bars or something? I am curious to know.

My friend lacerated his by missing his peg on a gap to smith grind and slammed his whole side into the ground. Enough force will do it.

I know it's not bmx, but ask Brian Deegan about this. Lol. Bar into the gut without bar ends tho. I watched it almost happen to a friend on my backyard jumps when we were about 11. Ripped his stomach open side to side all the way to his organs. Doc said if he wasn't chunky it would've killed him. What a fun day that was. It was pretty entertaining watching him give himself liposuction with his own hand on the way to the ER! Haha. Like 200 stitches in 3 layers and he was fine. Best believe his parents never let him ride at my house again tho

Haha my bad. That's why bar ends were invented and should be used. The ends are basically giant piercing needles if you land straight on them with any body weight. This was only off a 2ft tabletop too! Lol. My dog ran in front of him the second he hit the lip, then the bars/wheel went sideways upon landing and trying to avoid him, and he harpooned himself like a horror movie basically. The follow thru twist of falling was what made it rip side to side tho. I'm really not making this up either. Dude was like a hero at school after that. Haha

Off topic but your sig makes me laugh. Ever heard of Chris King products? Their hubs only were almost $600 a set back in the day, and their standard cup headsets were like $125 to $150-ish. But hey, that was top of the line before integrated and cassettes started to get big. Lol

Sunday's right tho, as a metal peg is essentially the same as a bar, but even bigger and more likely to be sharp on the end

Haha nice! I always wanted their stuff back in the day but could never afford it. If I ever do an old/mid school build, I'm probably gonna use one of their headsets(if I can find one anyways). Looks like the used bmx hubs can be found pretty cheap online too. Well, cheap compared to what they cost new anyways. Lol
