So today I went to the post office to ship a chain with tracking and it came out to $8.73 is there a cheaper way to ship I used the smallest size envelope it would fit in .

Printing off online alone saves you a little.
Under 13 oz you can do First Class, it's like $4 or less
Padded Flat Rate Envelopes are pretty good size and cost $5.95 i think. I ship smaller bike parts with these and the small flat rate boxes. Small Flat Rate Boxes cost $5.80 to ship. If you ship alot of stuff you can order a bunch of the boxes and envelopes online for free. Before i ship something i always use the "calculate a price" thing on their site to see whats the cheapest way.
