Are the Nike sb dunks any good? I know a few people ride them. LIke grip wise are they good? not too bulky? I need new shoes since my vans though it would be funny to break so easy.

I grew up with Vans and Airwalks being the shoes bikers and skaters used. Vision too, but they were basically Chucks. I never dreamed Nike would create a good shoe for riding, or that I'd ever buy a pair of Nikes but I have a pair of Mogan 2 6.0s and they're the most comfortable, grippiest shoe I have owned. I tried the dunks too, but liked the feel and design of these better. As everything though, it's personal preferance.

I'll have to try and find a pair. At first I didn't like the idea of Nikes either but I now have had two pairs of vans get destroyed from basically nothing. A lot of the Nikes are harder to find since they dropped the 6.0 line : /

If you know what size you wear in them, you can find them online in the $30-$40 price range.

Yeah that's what I'm gonna try to do. How did the dunks grip? That's the main thing I'm looking for, shoes that grip pretty good.

They're good, my friend was riding some today and he likes em.
I don't really like the looks of the though.
"Are they punkin' me Tio, are they punkin' me?"
Cool. I think I'm gonna get some. Shoes last me a couple months so I like to try different stuff. I know what ya mean, I think some look okay. I like in between shoes. Not too slim but not too bulky and padded.

Yeah I agree, Vans made some Halfcabs Lite, a little less bulky.
I think I'm gonna give them a try, they look pretty nice too.

Yeah those look nice! I've rode plenty of vans and they're nice but I seem to not be lucky with them. I'd like to know how the FUCK I did this:
They grip really good though.

Yeah that's what I noticed too, they grip great but don't last too long, especially the soles.

I ride dunks now, at first they were shit both grip and comfort compared to my vans and lakais but after a week the grip is almost as good but with much better impact support
I'd get the janoski's or the paul rodriguez's but dunks are sweet also.

I've heard the p rods are good. I'm not a fan of janoskis they're wayy too slim for me. I think I'm gonna go with dunks or renzo 2s maybe mogans if I can find a pair.

I say go for the dunks, they're by far my favorite shoes to ride in. They seem really stiff when you first get them, but after you ride in them for a month or so they really loosen up and the soles are pretty thick so you'll never really have to worry about bruising the bottoms of your feet. Plus mine always last at least a year of hard rideing and their grip is amazing.
