Yeah it all depends, I usually do tricks in front of kids, they like to watch and I have no problem with it. But I never ride crowded skateparks or parks with more than 2 or 3 people there I just don't like it.

Yup, took me a couple of years to get over that shit. I just used to cruise round with everyone, i did abit of filming & photography. Its abit weird riding street on your loner so as you mentioned i rode with friends alot. Theres always that nagging thought in my head im gunna cock up & look like a total retard. Im wrecked right now & most people i ride with know this so theres no expectations on my head so it can be quite fun, all i really do is grind anyway lol. But ive been working on Un-Luc E's secretly a few of the crew were pretty stoked on them!

I am shy, i hate skate parks a that are packed. Usually i ride anyway but if i miss land whip airs or something they laugh at me when they cant even barspin or 3

I'm pretty open, I usually try new shit when there's friends or people around.
It motivates me to do better.

I usually just go for stuff if i think i can do it. I basically know my limits i'm not going to jump off a house or anything like that.. But if your scared go for the trick and don't puss out in the middle of it. Not a good idea.

I forgot to mention that my friends don´t ride bmx, what i wanted to mean is when we are out, in a park, in the street, etc..
Some kids younger than me tell me to do some tricks when they say me. ALWAYS. Thats why i don´t do anything when they are looking me. Also, i have to mention that i live in spain, so nobody knows bmx, and for people i am a teenager with a little/ very old bike (it´s new ...) doing some tricks.



BUT when i do a simple bunny the get surprised .

The only thing I hate is when it's me and like a bunch of guys (about 5 of them) in the skatepark and they go and 'hang around' at the top of one of the ramps and do NOTHING! I never do anything when it's like that. When the skatepark is packed and there's loads of people doing different things I feel there is less pressure on me if I go wrong

Same actually. I usually won't just sit around but I definitely won't ride as much. And when I do I feel a bit inhibited. Most people probably don't care but still. There always seems to be a large enough group of assholes. Sometimes if I'm just cruising I don't even do anything because I don't want people to think I'm showing off. Like if I were going to do a manual but some guys just popped up around the corner I'd wait till I pass them.

i love manualing past people on the street so funny if ya can hold it for a good 20+meters and there like O_o

Haha, try being a 40 yo man on a kids bike! People either think I stole it or I'm on my kids bike. It's nice now and then when someone says "nice bike" sincerely, but usually they are being sarcastic.

I always ride uk street ( which is rough as fuck btw ) alone these days, I lost contact with everyone I used to ride with when I had to stop riding 10 yrs ago, but today aged 31 I couldn't give two fucks what anyone thinks about what I'm doin.

I won't open myself up to ridicule by trying new stuff in front of a crowd of dickheads cuz learning new things your gunner crash an there's always going to be muva fukaz out there that'll take the piss but I got no problems doin the shit I know I can do in front of people. Most people like how bmx trix look anyways cuz its fun to watch. But there's always a few dicks that just don't get it, we bmxers are quite a misunderstood and diverse community which most people can't get there heads around why we do what we do. Fuck em.

What you gotta realise is anyone that's gonner take the piss ain't worth knowing and their opinions certainly don't matter, I'm gonner be out there doin my thing either way, I ain't lettin the hate and bullshit in dis world get the better of me, I got goals to achieve and anyone in my way can get the fuck out of it.

Sorry man.. But It´s cool that you are doing what you really like, and that´s what matters. Sorry, but when you say that people think that you stole a bike i laughed a bit....

Soulrebelrastaman i know that in barcelona bmx is a well-know sport, the x games are going to celebrate there i think, BUUT i don´t live in Barcelona, or any big city, i live in Zaragoza, in a town called Tauste (7600 persons), you can search it in google maps if you want... , full of old people, with old style mind.....

I remember one day that i went to the trails and there were a bunch of litle kinds. They told me that my bike was littel, and a fucking shit. I just laughet at their low Merida´s MTBs trying to jump...

I actually kind of like people watching me ride, it inspires me to to big things. But when I'm learning something new, I prefer it if there isn't a load of people watching me.

that happens to me but im just not really a social rider I would rather just ride by myself, unless it with friends or people I know

same, but because i dont want to look like a bitchass show off who thinks hes good, i had a fatass friend who would manual intersections and look like a dumbass especially when he drops it or flips out.

That's sort of like me in public, I don't like drawing too much attention so I wait for people to walk past before I try something.

one thing happened to me a while back, i was trying a 3 down a 6 set and i kept on slamming in a town people started to gather and watch as i kept on trying. after 5 attempts (each time people were saying i was close etc) i finally got it. The cheer was amazing as i felt i deserved it :D
