I've been wanting to grab a pair of slick/semi slick tires lately, and I'd like to know what grips the best and which one does best on dirt. I've been looking at three ones mainly. High street lows, hawks, and the dugans. I know that the hawks just have to be broken in and then you're pretty much fine, but how are the others if anyone has tried them?

I wish I could help but I've only had experience with GT airbag 2.1 , which i believe kenda makes... But none the less I will be following this thread because I need new tires as well and would like to know more about these slick tires. So far my tires have gripped awesomely, even though I've had a few close calls with slipping out lately now that they are getting close to bald.
I hear the hawks brand new are mad slippery, even on concrete?
I hope they have mad grip, and don't cause a slip out when taking a real sharp turn on slightly wet or even dry concrete...

Hawk are pretty good on concrete. They do just fine for me. Shadow valors are a good buy too

Amimal GLH in front.... Rear Animal TWW.. Depends on the dirt you're riding on. Great for really hard packed dirt. Shadow undertaker are awsome... Just hard to find
