Ok so how do you know what size spokes to use? Rims have different lacing patterns and hubs have different sized flanges I think that's what you call them... But I'm getting new rims éclat X Odus rims and I have éclat pulse hubs how am I so post to know? From what I hear he x odus has a different lacing patern that's why it's so strong and Sean burns runs them...

Here you go. I've never had an issue using this.
Photo
l is the spoke length
rr is the radius of the rim
rf is the radius of the hub flange (measured to the centre of the spoke hole)
f is the offset of the flange from the centre of the wheel
x is the number of times a spoke crosses over another spoke
h is the total number of spokes in the wheel
dh is the diameter of the spoke hole in the hub

185's for your cassette because the flanges are taller. That's going to be a nice set of wheels man. Although, Burns doesn't run the Xodus rims now that bone deth has 48 hole rims and hubs.

thats wrong though... That formula assumes that the spoke is infinitely thin so its actually a millimeter short. gosh.. this is like middle school math

Yea, yea, yea, but it gets me close! I didn't see what Brandon had posted before I posted, but I got my info from that site. I just saved it in a notepad forever ago.
