go to a machine shop , or take a file and remove the material yourself

DO NOT TRY TO FILE IT YOURSELF. YOU WILL SCREW IT UP.

Go to a machine shop and see what it would cost to bore it to 24mm.

OR Return it and get a 28t and pedal harder.

If it's not a spline drive sprocket, it will work

DONT ASK TO HAVE IT MACHINED TO 24MM.

The proper bore is 15/16" (23.8mm)

And I just want to add that it would probably be close to the same price just to order a whole new sprocket

Little different when filing a tiny bit for an adapter VS filing 2 mm out to make it work.
