Hi, I've recently got a new sprocket and chain (colony cc and odyssey bluebird) the sprocket came with two adapters and installed only one of them, but here is where I think I have messed up, I done the normal things like tighten your cranks etc etc and when I spin my sprocket it moves forwards and backwards this makes the chain become extremely tight then extremely loose, any ways that I can get it spinning normally with no right/loose spots. (The sprocket is not bent) thanks

Extra? You should of taken the spacer from the packet that fits your spindle and put it in the sprocket then install it

That's what I have done and it worked. It is now spinning properly without the moving forwards and backwards and the chain remains tight all the way round, thanks again
