Naw you dont your bike will have more acceleration and less top speed but you should live

If you are using cogs and want to match the same gearing speed as a 36-13 by switching to 28-10, you will need to get a 10T one piece driver. They don't sell cogs in 10T, 12 is the smallest cog you can put on a cassette.
