My sprockets made out of steel thats stronger than aluminum right? if so, sweet. it's a stock heathen sprocket i just started running since i got my profiles.i thought it'd be a bad thing but then i started thinkin about it. ha.

haha. aluminum can be made thicker but yet the same weight. i think aluminum is way better for sprockets.

chromoly is steel.

its regular steel mixed with chromium.

i bet you its actually stamped aluminum.

trails are not skateparks, they exist solely from the work and dedication of local riders. so next time you start complaining about not having local trails to ride, you only need look at yourself.

also steel sprockets are more prone to bending while aluminum ones crack or shatter.

the aluminum one is usually better as a sprocket because it has a higher tolerance to crack than the sprocket's tolerance to bend.

ahhh, i get it. i'm not gonna replace because i SHOULD be getting a custom build in july. i already got it all picked out hahah.

Steel sprockets are easier to bend and aren't completely round so tight spots on chains are common
