clean off your rims really good, to get all the old brake crap off of your rims, then try... it always works for me

Toe in your brake pads a little bit too. The noise is usually caused by vibration, because the pad is totally touching your rim. Clean it all off, and then toe the pads. Should take care of it. Also lightly sand the crap off your pads.

ya same here, a week ago I got my primo rim and ever since they have been annoying me. I have sanded the gunk off of my pads, cleaned my rim and it only helped a little bit. I'll just live with it.

Get clear pads, lightly sand them, and take rubbing alcohol to your rim (windex can also work, or simple green cleaner) and clean your riim. (For those who want the squeaks)

My post was for a kid asking how to get them to squeak. It didn't quote well. Also damn near every kid who uses headphones knows nothing about their surroundings, cutting everyone off and running into people because they can't hear a damn thing. I want to punch so many kids that do this, especially in a crowded spot.

I use em for riding in the street, way too many sharp, abrasive, and sudden noises round here. It levels out the sounds. Granted I've been doing it for a looong time, If i wasn't aware of my surroundings I'd be dead.

Adjust the toe in and try sanding the pads as well as cleaning the rim. That usually does it for me. My brakes aren't too squeaky.
