Standout Rider of 2011?

With 2012 officially upon us, which riders do you feel like truly shined in 2011? Here are a few that come to my mind -

Dennis Enarson
Between winning the overall Dew Tour dirt title, taking home two silver medals and X-Games, dropping an amazing video part (Demolition's Last Chance), and putting out a bunch of really good stuff on the web, it seems like Dennis is the obvious standout in 2011. All accomplishments aside, Dennis continues to ride hard, progress, and represent what BMX is truly about to the general public. I think Dennis' 2011 may have been one of the best single years for a pro rider in the history of BMX.

Chad Kerley
We knew who Chad was prior to 2011, but he definitely blew up this past year. His ability to link lines and combos is unmatched and he's really at the forefront of technical street and park riding. Chad also won the Vital BMX Game of BIKE (taking out Stevie Churchill and Devon Smillie, who both also had big years in 2011), won The Hunt video contest, and made park finals at multiple Dew Tour stops. Sponsor-wise, Chad got bumped to Nike's pro team (something that's never happened to any other rider) and signed on to be the face of VitaminWater in BMX. Keep in mind, Chad isn't even 18 yet!

Kyle Baldock
Whether you're into contest riding or not, it's impossible to not respect what Baldock accomplished in 2011. In 2010, he didn't make it out of open qualifier to compete in Dew Tour. In 2011, he made it in and showed that he could legitimately win both dirt and park competitions. Kyle brought the double backflip to a whole new level by doing it no handed at The Pool and doing it over a first set in the dirt contest at the Portland Dew Tour. Kyle's consistency with big tricks is on another level.

Nathan Williams
Nathan has been killing it for quite a few years now, but it seems like in 2011 he became unfathomably good. Some of the clips in United's Downtime video, his Eclat welcome video, and in his Bakers Dozen video just basically don't make sense. What he's doing with icepick grinds, Luc-E grinds, hard 360s out of grinds, crooked grinds, switch grinds, etc. are at the top of the game. Nathan is pushing the limits of what's possible in street riding and it's exciting to see where 2012 takes him.

These would have to be my top four picks right now, but others that stand out are Scotty Cranmer, Stevie Churchill, Devon Smillie, Harry Main, Kevin Kiraly, Arik Elstran, Rob Wise, and Christian Rigal. Realistically, I could go on for days here. So much great riding got done in 2011!

So, which riders stood out to you the most in 2011?

Everyone you just said but with Stevie Churchill and Garret Reynolds.
Stevie just tore 2011 up and kept doing it and ending it with a banger(His new frame and section in The Hunt DVD)

Garret because not only did he start a new company, but he smoothed out his riding this year, he's still street as fuck and pretty raw but he's been doing smooth lines and monster stuff with style and grace for sure.

Chad Kerley blew up this past year. I heard more stuff about him than any other rider. Second in line would obviously be Enarson.

No doubt Webb, Kimbrough are awesome in their own right and Curley ( from the 3 stooges, jk lol) blew up. But Bezanson's edits were by far the most gnarliest riding filmed in 2011. Just my opinion.
