stolen 2.5 is two piece design (which means that one crank arm is welded onto the spindle)
while the regular stolen is 3 piece

so is it worth spending like £20 extra to get the 2.5's?

i dont really see a point, my bro rides regular teams and they are really great, even after like half a year.

idk
i havent had experience with 2 piece cranks
but it's supposed to be stronger
most of the stronger cranks use 2 piece like eclat, kink, odyssey, subrosa etc.
either way you cant go wrong
teams have lifetime warranty

The 2.5 are exactly the same design, just a different spindle. its basically 3 piece but you dont need a bolt on the right side. its really not worth the extra money. buddy has a pair of teams that are 3 years old. oldest part on his bike. still goin strong. and he goes through parts quick. especially frames.
