Anyone think this is a good idea ? I'm not a fan of lights and gimmicks but I'm always out street riding late at night , and since I ride brakeless it'd make my mom feel better. I'm not too sure you can replace the batteries though. It's a good little light for cruising , think it'd be solid and not fall off ?

I have this

Only it's not a red light.

It's worth getting one, but the one I have is $5 cheaper than the Subrosa ones and the way they wrap around is a bit different cause it looks like the Subrosa ones latch onto a metal clip or something.

It also looks like it doesn't fully make contact with the bars, the one I have does though & never moves on me when doing tricks so if the Subrosa one is anything like the one I have, you should be fine. I would imagine the batteries are replaceable as well.

It's a decent investment, I just bought one to piss the cops off cause they try to get us for anything they can, and if they can't get me for riding at night without a light, it'll make them mad knowing they can't get me for anything and that's funny to me.

I'll usually cruise anywhere from 10pm or 2am on a bad day , maybe I'll think of it next time I order. I don't want reflective tires either. I know cops in the states give out fines and are picky about little things then Canadian cops but it's just to be safe , I run lights and shit here so having some visibility would be good.

0/10. would not use. We have sufficient lighting here on all streets. Only 2 spots dont have lighting but 1 is on a trail and the other in an alley. So that doesnt really warrant buying these

Not necessary. It's more of a deterrant for the cops. Realistically if you can't see the entire spot, that little light will only illuminate the small area in front of you.

If i had asshole cops to deal with, i'd be all over it.

The point in these lights is not to fucking be high beams lmfao.. its so cops don't fuck you over with fines and shit for not having proper lighting..

They are literally just so people can see you and cops don't fuck you for not having reflectors or some shit.. not meant to show the way.. its a LED light not rudolph...

Sufficient lighting doesn't mean shit to cops, I've been stopped by cops for crossing well lit up streets before without a light.

The light is more so cars & other people can see you coming, not so much so that you can see where you're going.
