id get soomething from a major well known brand, odyssey for example, that stands behind their stuff and has been proven to be solid

You're wrong about language barrier, I've written with the guys from Stress and had no problem with comunicating with them. About warranty, they offer one and I bet that their distributor in Spain (if you have one) will warranty it, the same as you would warranty any Odyssey product in Europe. Just email them about your doubts, they will help for sure.
