Signs of a stretched chain? When I have my bike flipped over and pedal forward the chain will be tight and fine in spots but in one spot the chain gets real loose. Was wondering if the chain could stretched or if my sprocket would have anything to do with it being as the teeth are wearing down

that doesn't mean its stretched it means your sprocket isn't round

Yeah you bent your sprocket, take it off and beat it on some flat concrete to straighten out

Ya that's what I said I didn't kno if the chain was stretched OR if it was cause the teeth on the sprocket were worn but thx I have the eastern medusa and it held up good but I ordered the Burlington the other day and should be here today 

The stretched chain would not have any affect on the worn sprocket. A new chain on an old sprocket will make the chain jump. (or skip)

But who cares, your question was answered anyways . .. . .
