I want to take my 19mm mid bb out so i can switch to my powerbites. I already tried tapping them out with a socket extension. I got to the point of wailing on it with a hammer, but they didn't move at all! This is the only way i could find to get them out and it didn't work. What can i do to get the bb out?

Put it on something level like a table, angle it right, socket extension, and hammer them out. If theyre really stuck its gonna take a while hit equally around the bearing.

try greasing the edge some could slide in and also try using a wrench to hold the socket in place so you can hit it harder

I always use an old axle and a lump hammer, you can use anything with a large surface area really, just don't use a screwdriver.

The socket extension should be fine, just make sure to hit it evenly at the top, bottom, left & right sides.

Seriously hit it harder tho & it'll come out.

Spray some wd-40 in there and wait over night they should pop out tomorrow.

Put some grease in there when you install the new ones man.
