I'm buying Donnasqueak tires for my new bike but I'm doubting about the color. What do you think guys?

This is my bike:

I'd get black or whites but its your choice and part of bmx is creating a unique bike that is your own.

Hmmm I was thinking bout dark red. White doesn't get wasted soon?

I'd get black. Colours get boring after a while

Black to contrast the red, dark red is the wrong colour for your red. Its more like a burgandy and you have a deep candy red.

Whatever you want. But I like the "utilitarian" look of black

You're right... Let's be plain and elegant as possible. Gonna get black

Just so you know, the Black ones on Source are $40ea. Only certain colors and sizes are on sale for $25.

I would go with the red ones if you're looking to save money. Otherwise, get black ones from a shop in the US for $30ea.

Black no matter what brand is a better rubber compound as well it'll last longer. Just a thought, function > form anyday

Colored tires are indeed softer and wear faster, but because of their softness they grip better too, which is more so function than the durability of the tire is.

I've ran the red, blue, & sand colored BSD Donnasqueaks and they all lasted about a year before being passed on to the next guys. The blue and sand ones are still being rode to this day. I haven't rode a black set, but the colored ones are plenty durable. More durable than most black tires I've tried.

Black, or black with tan walls. Colors suck, they wear out faster, and are more prone to dry rotting. They are usually quite a bit heavier than thier black counterparts, but not any tougher either. There's a reason tires are black on cars.
