Maybe the pic and quote are related..
This picture shows a really deep story about a sensitive boy and his bike, but everytime he tries a barspin he eats shit because his bars are too wide. Now he feels that his bike has let him down and he wants to quit riding.

It totally means it sucks when people you used to ride bmx with change & no longer ride bmx. The "world" is bmx, meaning they aren't apart of your (bmx) world anymore.
