I usually do some of these when I get a new frame, just in case anyone would happen to be wanting a new frame for christmas or something, it's on sale, so act fast!
I will start by talking about my Guerra Moose frame. I loved this frame. Everything except for the 9 inch standover, its just too much for me. This frame was light, pretty tough, except for the denting on the downtube, which is to be expected with a double butted downtube. The original tensioners were pretty shit and bent quickly, especially when i had a 28/9 gear ratio which had it pretty much at the end of the dropouts. I eventually got a 27t sprocket and that surely fixed the bending problem with chain tensioners. 25/9 would probably work too but idk, i didnt try it. The chrome is a true beauty and never really scratched much, except for the chainstays. It has a pretty narrow BB too, which is nice for BB grinds. It has some emaculate welds, which is probably Easterns newer weld process (not how it used to be kind of lame) I must say that the Geo was great. Very relaxed and could manual relaxed for ages. It was really really light and pretty stiff too. If there was anything i would change, it would be the downtube to just have it straight gauge or thicker or something to make it better against dents and the standover to a more reasonable 8.5. It is probably gonna go up for sale, complete with break mounts, extra chain tension bolts and all that. Probably 150 bucks, but i may hold onto it. If you're interested in this frame, ask me for my number and we can talk.
Alright, so knowing all that about my last frame, it made me get a Funday. Has the good dent resistence, better tensioners and my favorite 8.5 standover. Plus its under 41thermal which i really like. The only thing i had been worried about was the 74.5 since it had been a long time since i have had that hta. Im actually glad i went back because 75 is a little twitchy in comparison and 74.5 feels way smoother. It'll be super nice when i go back to wheelmill during the winter months. I have been riding it for a few days, doing stuff to see how good it is. I dropped a few sets, 180d some stuff and 360d some stuff. 180 bars are way easier for whatever reason, which is nice because i love that trick. Sunday did a great job with this frame. The backend is also a bit shorter than my Moose so i can spin a little faster and manual stuff better. I really recommend this. Its also built to last. Sorry for the lengthy post, but i figured its a nice thing for people to read a really thorough thing about frames.
Thanks for taking the time to read and yeah it is a little of a CSB
