If you are going to buy a non-chromo framed bike, buy used. There are a TON for sale everywhere. You'll save a ton of money. No sense in wasting money buying new.

Get the one you think looks better. Seriously.

I have a cult, and a Sunday. They are both aftermarket. The Sunday is more technologically advanced, and has a lifetime warranty, it feels bulletproof, and it's 11 years old. My cult hawk is a 2016 model, and I bet it's not as strong as the Sunday either. It has a more classic look though. Since you aren't buying aftermarket I'd say it doesn't matter. I'd really advise you to do some research and buy used. I just got my Sunday recently on eBay, for less than either of those bikes are, and it looks brand new.

If you won't take advice from us, then just get what you want and don't ask. I recommend Mafia since you're looking for bikes made of cheddar. They're the best there is, extra mature.

Since material isn't important, I've heard they are doing some great things with pewter and zinc for frames & forks. Might be worth looking into.

I've heard lead is a good choice.

First more or less serious answer. It's all more or less about brand image and riders. There are no more shitty bikes now, they are all good if they're in the same price range.

Check out their edits, their website, their riders, how long they've been in the sport, what their last innovative thing was, and see which company you would give your money to.

The bikes are all made in the same factory and come from the same place, more or less.

It doesn't matter where a train goes. It's decidin' to get on that does.

You think Sunday and Cult bikes are American? They're probably made in the same Taiwanese factory as Mafia, if not the neighboring factory.

|

11/27/2017 2:31 PM

Ok well y'all have compelled me to get Chromoly so what are some bikes with 20" toptube?

I'd give you suggestions but will you actually be purchasing a bike or are you just gonna make more threads about hi ten death traps. Seriously you're leading literally everyone to think you're just another troll. Speaking of which if you're looking for a good frame pick yourself up one of luptons volume pro models laughing laughing

Maybe not the first few times but yes eventually (not very long though) it will and you will be bashed up badly in result.

It'll take a bit longer but still. You still don't want to be continuously sending 6 sets on a hi ten bike. It's just not wise

Doesn't matter, you'll be rough as shit for the first few months at least....

Just take the advice you've been given already, it's going to cost you less in the long run. If you can't afford the suggested bikes, save up a bit more. Things always tend to break in the worst way/situation possible; cheaping out to the point you are, is just asking for an injury(or a few) in the long run. It's not even nearly worth it....
