Recently, I've found a new appreciation for the abundance of switch/opposite tricks that people are doing these days, but for the longest time I was a bit of a skeptic. I feel like doing things your opposite way is kind of a natural sort of progression where the rider is pushing their self to do something new. I can respect that because progression is what BMX is all about, but for the longest time, when i'd see a somewhat sketchy switch 3 or bar, i'd think to myself, "I would've much rather just seen a super clean and steezy regular 3 or bar". Sometimes i still feel this way, but like I said, I've found a new appreciation for switch/opposite tricks.
How do you guys feel about this sort of thing?
