TREE Hubs Vs G-Sport or.....

I've been eyeing Tree hubs for both the front and back. The other sets I've been looking at are G-Sport hubs and rims, as well as Odyssey Anti-Grams and the Aero rims. I've heard Odyssey is coming out with a Anti-Gram for the front as well.

Honestly, I'm super satisfied with my Demolition Wheels, but I'm always open for broadening my horizons if the shits legit!

If you have the cash for G Sports then hell yes, G Sports. Buutttt....if you've been riding demolitions and happy with them and haven't hurt them yet you might not need something with such strength if you're on a budget...it might sound silly but some riders just don't need as strong parts (riding style, etc.) so it might be overkill.

Thing is, I'm 185 lbs but haven't had any probs with the Demos this far. I know it seems like everyone is all over G-Sport's nuts, but I also love my Tree Branch bars and Stump pegs; their warranty is pretty ill. I am on a budget right now, but with my work, I sporadically come into a bit of dough every now and then so who knows. Just seeing what the general consensus is. Thanks for all the comments so far!!

Promos are good, I love my remix and n4fl. Granted both hubs bearing are blown but that's cuz I was too lazy to take them out when I used oven cleaner to polish them.

get some profile hubs laced up to a 7ka or ribcage rim man, the way to go imo

|

One don't get profiles

Two I'd deff stay away from the current primo's. remixes have small shitty bearings and I've heard heaps of issues about the fronts. Could find an old mix or the cult clone the match for a solid rear hub.

Three tree hubs are meant to be pretty bloody awesome. But something to remember is that the spokes will be more expensive and most shops don't carry straight pull spokes. But if you order them just net a heap of extra spokes and your sorted

Four gsport are great I've got 3 ratchets and a marmo at the moment. They are working on a new set of simian hubs (front and rears) might be worth keeping an eye out for those

5 could always look into the new odyssey hubs aswell

I am getting front and back tree hubs. (order in progress) Also the fat ergo seat. If I need new bars in the near future, I'd get some branch bars. Tree puts in work on their products. And ya, the warranty is awesome.

Trees Warranty may be good, but G-Sport's have a lifetime warranty (IDK if Tree's do) and even covers them getting run over by a Bus. And you probably won't need it anyway - G-Sport Hubs are bombproof. They have only ever had to warranty I think 6 Axles in the history of the Company.

But then Tree Hubs are great. The Straight Pull Spokes and the Ceramic Driver Bearing is great. Antigrams look good too, like mini G-Sports.

I don't know about him but IMO they're overpriced, not saying they're bad bud they're not really anything special. I'd much rather have G-Sports, Antigrams, or Trees.

Yeah fair enough, if I was given Profiles for free or really cheap I'd happily ride them, I just wouldn't buy them full price.

Personally I'd get the GSports, I ride one up front and it's beast.
Heard a lot of good stuff about Trees, but they have a lifetime warranty and you don't need the straight pull spokes on top of the actual prize of the hubs.

"Are they punkin' me Tio, are they punkin' me?"

Profiles are overpriced to start with. Lots of people having issues with "profile wobble" straight out of the box, pretty poor warranty. Also seen quite a few with removable flanges
