there probly stronger the aluminum sprockets, since its chromo and heat treated so they dont need to make it as thick

This. Chromo is much stronger than aluminum, so it can be thinner and possibly stronger and just as light.

Definitely, good point. And it won't warp to stretched chains, either, but I guess that means you'll just end up buying more chains.

That's what I've got (Bluebird is the same thing). But Shadow chains seem like a really bad idea with a chromo sprocket.

The problem with Steel sprockets is that because they are so thin they can bend easier as the sizes go up. Also S&M saw that steel wasn't the greatest material to make sprockets because it would ovalize easier the aluminum. I'd wait until its out for awhile and tree works out the bugs(if any show up) before I pick one up.
