How do you install a tennis ball in your spokes/wheel...? Does it require having to unlace the wheel and than relacing it...?
If so...I might not do it as I have no spoke lacing and wheel truing experience. I am hoping that you don't have to unlace the wheel and can just jam/stick the tennis ball in there somehow.

you have to be super experienced and its really hard but heres the how to:
step1: acquire tennis ball
step2: shove it in the spokes
done

my buddy has a tennis ball in his wheel and his explanation was that someone threw it at his wheel a couple years ago and it got stuck. its literally that easy

uhhh...why would you want a tennis ball in your wheel? I mean, I understand putting a couple of playing cards there to make your bike sound like a motorcycle...but a tennis ball?

It offsets the weight of your wheel so you can roll further at a low speed. It's for all these kids that are too scared to put a couple of cranks in

oh...cool. Well, I can crank, and I don't do pot, so my wheels will stay the same...I always thought it was some kind of symbol...like a certain crew rode with tennis balls in their wheels...y' know...Hardcore Ballers

because kids are stupid and think it'll magically make their wheels never come out of true. everyone I've seen with a tennis ball in their spokes had that exact explanation, save for a few.
offsetting the rotational weight like Steve said is the only real benefit.
