I have a mongoose and am putting great parts on it, is it worth it? I have lock on grips, sinz handlebars, nitrous seat clamp, origin8 brake lever, red kenda kontact tires, and orange black ops DefendR brake cable.

No.
Double Fuck No.
Invest parts on a decent frame. Not a piece of shit frame.
Go out, buy a decent price used frame and go from there.
Put in work.
Put in work.
Put in work.
Flacko put 'em in the dirt.
wal-gooses are usually crap and yes you probably have some crappy parts on your bike but really just replace things as they break unless you have a lot of money or something. But if ain't broke don't fix it.
Check out my youtube channel!! http://www.youtube.com/user/mikel8149
its only worth it if its one of there high end bikes
MIDWEST MOTHER FUCKER
Bike Check
Bought from Tomdon, and ScramHype
I don't see why not, eventually you'll replace everything, it's what I did to start with. Not being funny but that's hardly what I'd call decent parts that you've put on.
Edited Date/Time:
its a beater bike really, I have an intense pro 20, the mongoose is more of a project for town riding.
im also only 13 and cant get a workers licence untill im 14, so I cant afford high end psrts, let slone a frame.
As long as the kid has got a bike to ride that go for it mate at his age he props won't break the frame anyways so keep riding bro

yeah i agree but not with the frame breaking part age has nothing to do with it im 14 and i broke my sunday funday v1
You're just replacing the cheap parts that don't matter. You put on racing handlebars, lock on grips (made for racing), a new seat clamp (lol t who cares about the seat clamp?), a decent brake lever (i'll give you that), the kendas are alright i guess, and some brake cable. Don't buy a crappy bike and replace only the cheap misc parts that make no difference. Invest in a new bike and do some research about good bmx parts.
Im 15 years old, I suck at BMX, I live in Texas.
That's all.
I bought the bike for 10 dollarss, with no seat clamp, bars, grips, tires, or any sort of hardware needed to ride. It is a project and eventually I will get to the point of replacing the frame. I have owned many pairs of kontact tires and loved them. this is a budget project that I, a 13 year old boy that cannot legally get a job, am working ob for FUN. I have a nice performance bike and use it properly. Sorry I didn't state that in my original post. Thank you for the criticism.
Sincerely, the noy looking.for a summer project to enjoy.
