Thoughts on FBM's Bellwitch frame

In my opinion, when it comes to frames, parts, etc., the thing that sets one apart from the others is the quality of the materials and workmanship that goes into that part. You can ride 10 different frames from 10 different companies that have the exact same specs and they are all going to feel the same. At the end of the day, it's that quality that makes a part come out on top and FBM does just that. I chose to buy my Bellwitch because I was looking for something with a geometry that I thought would suit all types of riding and so far it has. I also like the fact that FBM is a small, US company. And the inverted cross on the seatstay bridge is just an added bonus. If you're looking for something with the geometry of the Bellwitch, you can't go wrong.

hmmm, I'll take that into consideration thanks

In all seriousness, I love my Steadfast. The quality is incredible. Tight, precise bearing fit, really nice welds, high quality paint, and a pretty decent design overall, especially for a USA made frame. But I'd personally prefer the Orphan over the Bellwitch just because bigger top tubes are the best. And Crandall is awesome so there's that.

Get one. Or the orphan, i'm gonna get one of them eventually.

Get it in that sexually enticing blue color. FBM makes wonderful stuff, i would get one to build up another bike if i had the money, and if i come along one on the cheap, i may buy it. FBM is a really good American company and the Bellwitch really is a sick ass frame. It's pretty light too, which is good.
