Whats your favorite tire width? What do you ride? Whats the perfect setup? Do you ride different sizes in the front and the rear?

2.1 all around is the bee's knees. I've tried everything from 1.75 to 2.4 and this is what works best for me

Currently on 2.35" Eclat Mirages. My next tyres will be either 2.35" Demolition Momentums or 2.35" Animal MTTs(my 2 favourite tyres).

2.4 in front 2.3 in back. I want to try the 2 25 FAFs though. I ride dirt sometimes and they look like a nice all round tire.

I'm on 2.45 Aitkens front and rear. They feel pretty nice and grip pretty damn well.

I don't crash, I do random gravity checks...

Animal GLH 2.25 front and rear. I haven’t rode in a long ass time, but I can’t complain right now.

I ride 2.4" 25-35psi for street and 2.2" 70-85psi for park. I'm pretty skinny hence why low pressures work for me, I also know you didn't ask about pressures but it seems like it could be relevant. A friend of mine is thinking of getting xl rims with I think he said 2.2 tires that should apparently stretch out to be more like 2.5 which would be interesting

I ride 2.4" 25-35psi and any tire that looks cool and is a medium weight for street then 2.2" 70-85psi khe mac2 park/street (I switch out between summer and winter) for park. Right now I’m liking bsd squeaks in 2.25. Seem to give me just enough room for bent rims and shifted tires.

I’m a street rider at heart and do shit loads of grinding(oh I know pegless is where it’s at but I suck so I ride pegs) It’s likely just mental but in my mind I think I can keep locked into nasty ledges with thinner tires.

But on the other hand, 2.25 is the best balance for me as it seems to still ride good at 45psi and absorb street impacts. I can definently tell a 2.35 with the same psi rides softer and easier on impacts though.... there’s tradeoffs on both sides.

I ride 2.4 at 100psi all around. 90% street riding. I feel the higher pressure gets me some of the speed back from the fat ass tires and much needed cushion from drops. Squishy tires at any width always felt weird to me and I don’t like it, but clearly i’m in the minority.

Currently on Shadow Valors, but I like pretty much any name brand tire with a slick center patch between 2.3 & 2.4
