Topload Vs. Frontload

so im building my new bike and i don't know if i should get a frontload stem or a topload stem, i usually ride front, but i rode my friends top once...and idk, just want to know the pros and cons for both

Doesn't effect anything.

10" bars on an 8mm X 53mm front load will feel the same as 9" bars on a 33mm X 53mm topload.

I personally run topload so I don't need excessively huge bars, and I think it looks cleaner and makes it easier to install bars.

Top load are higher. There's no real difference, it's all down to personal preference really, like how high or low do you like your bars. But I don't see the point in getting a front load then massive bars to compensate, or having a big stack of hset spacers.
