I was flicking through pics on the Total BMX facebook page and EVERY bike has a tiny little scooter frame, profiles and a gyro.
What do people want a big scooter??
Here's one I found
I'm gonna need bigger bars

What scooters have a Gyro and Profiles?
I don't really see the point in these low slung frames to be honest, but each to their own. I know loads of people who have just got a Hangover. In fact one of the most recent pictures on the Total page is a friends of mine, and it is a Hangover, but has a high seat, which I find odd.
Cuz they ride park.. Park riders like to run profiles cuz they can have ti driver and stuff and the short frame makes it east for no foot can and whips.. Tricks like that

What do you have against profiles? To expensive for you?
Look at the total team a bunch of contest killers winning allot of contests, if people can't show those guys up I think they should keep their opinions to themselves because theirs are clearly superior to yours
At what stand over height is it considered a scooter frame?

Who cares what other people ride. I ride a hangover and I think its a good frame. I don't run profiles but why not they're pretty well made hubs.

Im not a fan of profiles, FOR STREET. I like to go backwards and not struggle. I have a Cult Match and i have a hard enough time on it for fakies. haha I actually like Profiles, but they arent for me. I like my pegs and i like my hub to be at least a little easier on fakies. Profiles are fine. And i cant afford one too. I dont need that engagement and such. Fine hubs, fine parts. Actually, they are actually some of my favorites to see on a bike. I really just dont want that. Im happy with mine.
On the other hand, I know a lot of riders that ride only ramps and trails and they are perfect for them. I do like those funny low frames. I remember the Black Eye Killorado frame. Oh my gosh is that frame fun to fling around in a whip like motion. This little dude let me ride his bike a while back at a skatepark and i really liked trying whips on it. I had never gotten so close. Also, i have a friend with an Amber Vaco that has like a 7.something inch standover and it is my favorite frame for can-cans. You can kick em far out and not worry about kicking the Top Tube.
Again, for street, you will almost definitely look like a huge douche bag. "Hey check out the no footer can down this ledge!" "Oh here do it on my bike with a normal standover!" "nahhh" haha But! On the other hand, they are sick for LEARNING whips. I would buy one if i really really wanted to do whips. They make learning them pretty easy.
I think the look is my favorite part of em. I like how they look a lot. Its a nice taper look.

Killorado was the only frame I though looked stupid angles made it look weak.....but no footed can cans are a bit more challenging on taller frames 8 to 9 inch Inbetween there is what I go for

1. Just because Elites have near instant engagement doesn't mean that all Profiles do. The Mini and Totem are both 4 pawl and have fairly normal engagement.
2. You can run pegs on Profile hubs. They make hubguards for them right? Just because Elites aren't made for pegs doesn't mean they all are. I feel like everyone assumes all Profile hubs are Elites. Learn what you're talking about before saying you won't be able to fakie/run pegs just because of a brand name.

Most freestyle companies only make one cassette hub so profile having more then one might be a bit over their heads
i have a mankind justice and love it. Ive had a killerado a colony lowcut, colony phantom love them all. But im just a bike nut i have other bikes with higher standover also. my justice is fun to do whiplashes whips and can cans

Profiles go so fast on fakies engagement has nothing to to with it
It's more about gear ratio

Go home Charles you're drunk. Any hub can run any gear ratio if you use the right sprocket. Therefor, a Gsport running 33/9 could be higher than a profile running 22/9. And they would probably feel about the same on fakies...

I don't drink anymore I've totally changed my life remember? It's linked in my signature
I know allot when it comes to fakies and I've rode high medium and low engagement hubs all with 25/9
Only time I felt a difference was with 28/9 and 27/9
Harder it is to pedal harder it will be to turn around its simple logic man

I ride 30 9 and ride a profile and do high speed fakies they don't seem to be that hard unless your on slick concrete
ride what you like.. except scooters
Check out my youtube channel!! http://www.youtube.com/user/mikel8149
I have no issues faking a bike based on its hubs engagement... high mother fuckers.
I can feel it when pedaling forward though.

My Cult 2 Short
I have to admit that there is a cut off point... I'm running 7.75" on My Utopia but the Top Tube Length is 19.5" & the Chain Stays are 12.4" it's waaaaay Shorter than the majority of Frames on the market right now. TBH, with a Longer Frame I'm pretty sure I'd be happy with a Taller Stand Over Height on a "Street" Street Frame never rode a Frame over 8.5" actually Oh well one to add to the to do list, Charles I'm liking the New Solid!
Thanks man, Just wait till it's finished it's gonna be so awesome

I think it was g sport but they made a hub as close to instant engagement as they could and let some pro riders ride it at some indoor park and they all ate shit, you could get use to it but really engagement does matter when it comes to fakes
