Alright going to be straight forward here I'm fairly new to the bmx scene. for the past month or so I've been learning how to 180 (yea I know I'm a slow learner right). Although I've encountered a slight issue, I go through inner tube after inner tube after inner tube(rear tube)... Whenever I go to 180 from flat ground I only have a couple attempts before poof another tube gone. I have the motion down and everything but I usually land it without having enough speed to roll out (I'm not very confident with going fast, usually only go 1/4 - 1/2 crank speed), sometimes I don't even land it, I land into like a 110+ lol. But I'm here asking how do I get rid of this bad habit or whatever you wonna call it.

I guess call this my introduction to the forum as well, glad to be here hope to have fun.

Oh btw I'm riding an older bike, Diamond back venom (2007 I think), its nothing special but it's something to ride I guess until I get better and get a better bike.

What PSI are you running? Do you have rim strips?

See that there is no dirt or debris in your tire and that there is a rim strip over your spokes. (you can use electrical tape as a rim strip) when you put the new tube in, make sure that the valve is pointing straight out of the rim.

Low pressure can cause pinch flats. you don't want to be doing 180s with >10psi lol. If your tires have a high enough psi rating, pumpitup!
I try to run 90psi (chase hawk 2.4 and Maxxis miracle 2.1)

Also, old cracking tires can cause flats.

I don't know exactly but if had to guess I'd says anywhere from 27psi to 31psi, I just use bell tubes because there cheap and I just gotta run down the road to pick one up but it don't say anything about the recommended psi on the box. Rim strips, well I got my rims lined with a layer of ducktape... Oh also I forgot to mention its the back tube that always pops, never had a problem with the front one.

I got contact cement which works (superglue seems to work great too lol) but it still dont solve my issue with going through tubes so quick lol.

27psi to 31psi isn't near enough. the recommended pressure will be on the side of your tire. chances are your pressure should be at least 60psi. also, if you are popping the same tire often, there may be a thorn or something tiny poking through the tire and into each tube you put in there. rub your hand along the inside of the tire to make sure nothing is rough or sharp. also do this along the inside of the rim where the tube touches. you can also air up a popped tube to see where the hole is in relation to the valve, then you can see if there is a thorn or something in that corresponding spot on the tire itself.

Whatever tires you have should say the maximum recommended PSI. Going closer to that should help

Ohh so the maximum psi in the tube dont matter, you just gotta worry about the maximum air the tire itself can handle.

Never heard of maximum psi for tubes. Anyway, go closer to the max tire psi like he said

pinch flats. I would almost guarantee it.

When you land are you fully 180'd or is your spin more/less than 180? Id bet you land and the tire folds over and pops, right?

More air in the tires!

And tubes are not where you get psi, get that off the side of the tire. I'd bet yours are 50+.

Using not enough psi in your tires get at least 70 80 in their if your going to be learning 180s and coming up short , your going to ruin your rims if you don't

I once had a tire from a high school musical bike I found behind a dumpster wich had a max psi rating of 35psi. I put 90psi in it grin . I was also using a 17inch tube (LOL no joke) it was like my chase hawk tire (wich i had in the front) exept faster wassat
a month later I hit a curb and it exploded. tongue
