Turndown question

no problem. thats how it should be. when you start turning try pedaling a 1/4 crank forward. basically just drop your front foot. hope this helps

my fucking too man! I figured I just couldn't do them because I I couldn't get the motion of doing it to the left. I'll definitely try the 1/4 crank thing.

I ride right foot forward and i motowhip my front end to the left and spin to the left regularly, but when i turndown i motowhip to the right and crank my bars counterclockwise if that makes any sence.....its freestyle there are no rights and wrongs

Learn them flyout or over a box jump or a pyramid......my best guess would be if you learn them off a ledge then try them over a jump you stand a better chance looping out or eating shit hard on them.....just a suggestion

Ok thanks for the help, when I throw them when I'm first learning, should I be trying to get perfectly clicked, or not yet

Actually, I'm almost certain you won't be able to do them properly like that. Turndowns are a complex trick, and they don't work towards your front foot.

It might be a little harder but not impossible.
There are some pretty good tutorials on YouTube, they will probably help you more.

This is what I thought because I can't find a way to get clicked at all, but if I try it normal, it fears weird and not as fun

I don't think ti will look as clean but it'll do.
And I don't think so, maybe AdamLZ did one while doing one opposite don't know.

All I can say is watch that. A few times he does Turndowns towards his Front Foot (In a quarterpipe air). They are quite far from clicked, and unfortunately I think that's as far as you can really get them.

Haha yeah, he is amazing. Troy Hayward is another really good little shredder, and I met him at my local skatepark's jam 2 weeks ago.
