Which one is better ?
quality-wise, they are comparable. they have slightly different geometry, such as the headtube angle. pick whichever one suits your geo preferences.

Volume frame wins hands down!
Volume frame comes with intergrated chain tensioners, I'm pretty sure the stranger frame doesn't have the chain tensioners.
Also the black and white splatter paint
job is cool and is a bit different to the usual colours that are about.
The question about what will last longer, well how long is a piece of string! Haha
It depends on how you ride and treat your bike in the first place, like massive roof drops and the like.
But I reckon both frames would last the same, the frames are probably made in the same factory anyway

The Ballast frame has the same style tensioners, I'm pretty sure you're right about being made in the same factory due to all the similarities in the build details.
I have a Ballast frame and would highly recommend it if you like the geometry, but if you're fan of a more traditional geometry then you can't go wrong with the Vessel(except for that cum-splattered paint job).
They're both probably made in the same factory. Pick the one with your favorite color/stickers because besides little geo tweaks they are the same frame
It’s all bmx
Geo is almost the same except for the HT angle. If you like twitchier then go with the Ballast. But I guess they feel the same.
You say BMX is your life but you barely ride.
BUT hey, That's none of my business.
Ok didn't know that, I like the splatter effect on the vessel, different strokes for different folks, haha
Since both have chain tensioners,
go with whatever brand you want to support.
