i have 2 bikes, my good one and my spare. i always ride my new one unless somethings wrong with it, but my pedals messed up so i'm riding the spare. i was riding around and for some reason it is way easier to spin on my old one, but it doesn't feel as controlled as on my good one. the only big differences between them are the tt and chainstays, both are smaller on my spare, but is it something else that makes it feel so easy? i do have much lighter tires on my old one, so is it rotational weight?

It's usually easier to spin with a smaller tt and smaller cs length

because you're used to your main bike, it's the same with me when i ride my spare....and a smaller TT and chainstay would make spins easier since the length of the bike would be shorter.

but my bike feels too small, is there a frame geo that will make it spin like that without feeling small?

go with smaller chainstays, still easy to spin but your TT will be a normal length so it won't feel too small

Its the same for me on my spare bike. My spare has a 20.8 TT, 75 headtube, with 13.25 CS while my Sunday i normally ride has a 21.25 TT, 74.5 headtube, and 13.60 chainstays.
If you want something thats easy to throw around go with something like the fit benny l or the sunday broadcaster
