What Ever Happened To Drogskull?

He lost interest in riding and apparently got into team/competitive paintball(ing?) so he said he was quitting and selling his bike, probably quit for a LoL online game or it LoL is a card game then he was into some online roleplaying game whatever, don't know if the game was also while he quit and lists of people just vanished since the days since I started, sad I really liked all of them

Fucking cars take people from bmx/skate it's sad, I was talking about it to a skater I was hanging out with and we hate it. I have Matix on Facebook and he's too into cars, Pavimo quit for cars, Verde quit because he was car knowledgeable since he was a sperm, the one and only nightlight quit for fishing but I know his car has something to do with it, I wouldn't be surprised if lorenzo said \bmx-1995/ quit for cars and I know others I don't remember most likely quit for cars
These guys who were the OG locals at my local park except for two quit over cars and I think one of them got into motorcycles too, it's sad because the video doesn't show it but all the other OG locals that quit for cars had talent, like the video but x2

I got into cars, just bought one and am working on it to make it drivable, yeah I'm bikeless over it but I'm trying to build a new bike really soon I fucking miss riding but I never stopped filming and taking my homies any place they want just to get a clip

Why quit for a car? you can like more than 1 thing in life. I love cars too but I still ride. Got a 77 cutlass to work on when I have downtime or it's too hot to ride. I won't quit riding for it though.

^^I think the cars thing generally happens I had a friend that was really good at biking, had a decent bike. He ended up quitting, sold his bike because he got a car it's a shame because he was really chill to hang out with

When I first started riding it was thanks to a great mate of mine who skated with me then he started riding so i did too. Plus my hips just couldnt take skating all the time now its just a once a week thing. But we met up with some other guys and all became great friends through bmx. We got a name for ourselves in our town with all the other riders called the squad because we were just a group of guys that would just go anywhere together and always helped eachother out. So we created a facebook group called "The Squad" and we would organize everything through there. And it was amazing. I was the oldest out of all of them and had my license so I would take them all for big road trips and everything then one day one guy just quit out of nowhere. he was getting good too which was a shame. Then soon after another quit, then another quit to fishing and another to drugs and partying. (he got into some group at school and they were all like that)

It went from 8 guys in the squad And my bedford van with bench seats in the back for everyone, to just two of us. Which is myself and best friend Joe (not the one who got me into it)
I got another car too (Still have the Beddy) which is just a three seater 79 Kingswood ute and we still do road trips when we both have time off. One friend who stopped riding recently started riding scooters and another started doing pot and wont talk to any of us anymore.

Joe and I still try and keep in contact with all the original members But its really shit.

There's quite a few members I can think of but cannot think of their full usernames offhand.


People come & go though, I left Vital for awhile too at one point years ago.

Yeah I know. I have a Bedford CFS Van thats my now project car. A Holden Kingswood 79" HJ ute that I did up and recently modding the engine. but I still ride and haven't lost interest at all

I don't get how a car can consume that much time from bmx riding. I know some of my neighbors that build drag cars in there garages and still have time for other hobbies go to work and spend time with the family. What do these kids do? Put a body kit on put performance parts every couple of months and just cruise and park cars in a parking garages and take facebook/insta photos? Its not like they are preparing for a rallycross or some track races.

Well when you get bored of riding its hard not to sell it knowing that there is going to be a piece of metal sitting in your garage that you can get $500 for that you could put towards your car or whatever

I'm about to quit riding as well for skating though. I started riding bmx because i was fascinated by tailwhips, flat 3's, trucks, and ice picks, but now that i can do all those its just like "thats it?". None of those even feel half as good as tre'ing a stairset or whatever. Growing up is a part of it too i guess.

Quitting because of BMX street, lay off the come up dawg streets fun but tranny and dirt exist for a reason, because streets actually not that fun

But I do get what you mean about the that's it feeling, I prefer seeing park riding and filming for those reasons

Thats why i'm happy that I am so into going fast and and the different riding. rather than just tricks.
Don't know how many times I have watched Sean Burns part from anthem 2 and been left in awe every time.

Also everyone should go and look at "Mark Mulville's" stuff. Such a fun to watch trails rider. really had the rock out look in his riding. And his style and bacg of tricks is somehow so different in my eyes than anyone else. Just looks cooler/ funner.

It's a proper shame when people decide that they don't have time for more than one thing! I'm kinda glad I got Epilepsy when I did, I was really getting into Minis & Older VW's. Then ended up having to give up My driving licence, So I just concentrated on Bikes, after 13 years now I couldn't be apart, I haven't ridden Street in over a Year! Few little Flat Sesh's squeezed in on a good day. But to My point lol... if I had a nice Car, to Me it would open up a whooooole New world of Riding! I'd be driving everywhere to Ride. I'm not joking it's a dream of mine to own a Single Decker Bus, like the Merc ones on smaller Bus routes here in the UK! I would grab the Dudes & off We would go!!!

"Topseys BMX buss service" i like it

BMX 1995 quit because he moved to a new city were no one else rode BMX, He also got into cars heavily but recently got into road biking. I talk to him almost daily now about road bikes.
