What are some good cranks?

Cranks come loose because of how much you tighten it, it doesn't matter what Cranks they are. But Odyssey Thunderbolts, Eclat Tibias and Primo Hollowbites are all good. They are all 22mm though, and if you have a 19mm BB and don't want to buy a new one then Fit Indents and Subrosa Bitchins are pretty good.

I've had Eclat Tibias for nearly 3 years, nothing wrong with them, no creaking, no bends. Absolutely great.

Thunderbolts have a hexagon ahape instead of splines with a compression/ expansion wedge cluster that keeps them tight

regardless about the brand, is it true to consider crank arm length for strength?
mine profile 180mm, some said it wasn't good enough for street, 175mm is a max tolerance.

Honestly 5mm would make no difference, you can run what ever length cranks you want. I'd like to try some 165's but not enough to go out and buy new cranks when I have perfectly good ones at the moment.
Personnely I don't like the 48 spline interface.
I've heard good things about:
Thunderbolts
Powerbites
Shadow notics (I know shadows coping hate at the moment but these cranks are powerbites but with a better pedal boss that won't strip the arm)
Or stolen teams even though these are 48 spline they have a life time warranty and are meant to be pretty solid
