Hi,

I have 1 quick but kinda stupid question:

What is it called when one does a tire slide on flat ground?/is there a video online explaining how to do it because whenever I try I always end up lifting my back wheel into the air rather than skidding it along.

If my description was too shit so u don't know what I'm talking about Begin's new complete bike promo from yesterday was packed full of them, (first one was at 15 seconds):

Thanks in advance.

Cameron

Wouldn't you just call braking: jamming foot in the back tire?

I've seen it called power slides, drifting etc. It is used as a form of braking. Slows you down before hitting a trick.

No, because I pull a lever.

Not everyone is brakeless.

If using it to slow down for a trick etc-usually I hear it called a speed check.

If stopping, or drifting for fund, powerslide.

Search a slippy spot and try to do it there, after that i think you will get the feeling. you kinda lift the back up a tiny little bit and it gonna land on the ground At that point where its slippin after that you dont have to do anything. If ill go ride today ill try to do a little video for you
