What bike do you regret buying/selling? I regret selling my 2015 redline asset (my first good BMX bike, paid $270 for it brand new). Photo
I did end up buying a dirt jumper with the money, so I don't regret it too much.

Regret selling my Haro Backtrail X2 frame since it was my first real bmx bike. Sold it just after I got my first Sunday frame. I regret it cause the kid I sold it to only wanted the BB & crank out of it and I didn't know how to get it out at the time, and I'd have loved to keep it just as a keepsake.

Regret buying a few things...

-Kink Viridian front hub. I should've known better to do some research before I bought it, was a huge piece of shit and waste of money.

-Sunday Freeze TL stem. Turns out I didn't like the added rise, got rid of it after about 2 weeks tops. Then someone stole it (it was sitting at the shop and I guess someone took it when I wasn't there)

-Tree front hub. Had quite a few problems with it than a $100 hub should have, namely the axle stripping out twice (Won't strip out, my ass) it was just a waste of money really.

I'm sure there's a few other things too

Demo Rotator V1 , supposedly everyone is plagued with shitty experiences around here too .

Set bars , they were too small and I could have gotten bigger ones with the money ! Learned I like bigger bars though .

Kenda Kontact tires are a joke LOL

Other than that , nothing crazy . Most parts are good.

Regret not doing 110% research before buying my complete. I'm happy with it right now being 100% ChroMoly frame, bars, etc., but I wish I had chosen a frame with a short standover. Funny thing, too, I pretty much changed everything stock on the complete except the frame, haha!

I've bought/built a couple of bigger wheeled bikes I got rid of within a couple of weeks and spent the money on my bmx. I regret giving up when I did 12 years ago and selling my old bike (s&m pbr frame, s&m racing stem, s&m slam bars, fbm cb4k's, profile large flange hubs, profile cranks, metal bikes 36t sprocket, odyssey mx seat and intac post, etc etc. It was a late mid school/early new school wet dream)
I also regret buying hoder bars, I knew I wouldn't like the sweep on them but they were cheap. Tried to get used to them and couldn't. Then practically gave them away. And I kind of regret buying the fbm pma stem, as I knew it had too much rise, but it was pretty!

Everything. If I kept all my stuff I'd really have 6 or 7 rideable bikes. Now I hoard what little extra parts I have left

Bought a first generation Strike Front Load Stem from Shadow and it snapped on me failed to realize that those cool looking holes used to save weight sacrifice strength, this was back when companies were putting holes in everything to save weight.

Animal Sway bars, easily the worst bars I've ever owned snapped on me in a about 2 months.
Bought Bob 4 piece bars after that which needless to say were much better.

I regret trading my Schwinn aluminum XS ENF frame (circa 1997ish) for an S&M Homes. Granted, S&M is great and I was always a big guy and mainly rode trails and was afraid of cracking the Schwinn, which was the mentality behind the whole trade.....but that Schwinn was an awesome frame. Wish I still had it. I still have the Homes however....

and I had an Auburn frame. Probably THE worst idea for a frame is to have the SS/CS to be removable. Many dropped chains on that frame.

I had a orange/tan Macneil Young 2 frame 21.25 toptube. with sick matching color scheme with it. I got into flatland that I bought a separate bike for flatland. I got to the point I could not even ride a skatepark anymore just did flatland and got ride of it. Gave it away. Now I am back into park riding again. Wish I still had it.
S&M grand slam bars and xlt fork,
shadow top load stem,
profile racing cranks 19mm,
Odyssey MDS sprocket,
Madera front hub laced with sun ringle sun city light rim
Odyssey cassette with primo 7005 aluminum rim
shadow v2 chain
fly headset.

I have a FBM Berserker frame now, 21 TT

Sunday ian frame that I cracked

My first "real" bike was a Dyno Compe -- probably a 97ish. My parents bought it for me at a nearby sporting goods store. I was about 10 or so. I rode that thing everywhere and all the time. I always liked it. I don't know what really happened to it - I must have sold it when I was in high school.

In high school, I bought a 2000 Specialized Fatboy Hemi Team on clearance with all the money I'd made between my 8th and 9th grade year. That bike was super light and I loved riding it. Told my parents to sell it when I went to college and some kid probably picked it up ridiculous cheap at their yard sale or something. I'd love to have that bike back.

I just don't like the specs personally. The tt is also shorter than my liking. And no gyro tabs too tall standover. There's nothing actually wrong with the frame itself.

Thanks. Yeah I'm planning on getting a 21" TT. Just making sure I'm not missing anything. I'm current bike doesn't have a gyro so I'm not too concerned about that. I do want rear brakes tho. I need to check into that.

i had one of these years ago and it was just fun. i had to sit on the back seat rail but it was so smooth on the road. i loved it. i was like 14 or something. wish to get another one for straight downhill riding. also really easy to wheelie around.
