Hi,

I recently bought a stolen sinner 2010 and im looking into buying a rear brake (I believe it takes a u brake) but there are no brake mounts (just holes with grooves in that im guessing the mounts screw onto) and cable mounts can someone tell me what I need for it please as i think there are different sizes and types. If you want pics of it i will take pics and post them when i can.

There's 3 types of brake mount. Sunday have their own so it won't be them. The "Neal Wood" mounts are probably the most common, these have one long bolt that goes through the brake, through the mount and into the frame, holding the brake onto the mount. The mount has a curve on the bottom so it fits flush with the frame when tightened. These are the better type that are less likely to come loose through normal use.
The other mounts thread directly into the frame, then a bolt holds the brake onto the mount. These are more likely to come loose as when you tension the springs you need to loosen off the bolt, which will loosen the mount too if it's not securely tightened.

Just had a quick Google search, it looks like that frame uses the latter. Is the top of the lug flat? Or does it curve with the seat stay? If it's flat it's the latter, if it curves it's the Neal Wood

These are the Neal Wood type

These are the others

Notice the curve on the bottom of the Neal Wood, and the other is flat on the bottom

Nice this all is very helpful. I have a question of my own. My Fly EBS brake posts are huge and hinder the brake arm movement. I wonder if some smaller ones will work. Do you guys know if other mounts can be used on Fly frames?
If not i wonder if Fly manual brakes accommodate the EBS oversized posts. Anyone run EBS brakes and manual brakes, how do they work?

I'll wait to see what Stolen say just to be sure then ill see where i can get them, then all ill have to get is some u brake set with cable and lever right?

Also with the little hole inline with the rear wheel in the pic is that for a caliper brake or is it just there?
