2018 Eastern Shovelhead

Both those bikes are shit...

I don't crash, I do random gravity checks...

yeah man you aint really wanting either of those. i'm assuming you're just picking up the hobby, so stranger and sunday seem like go-to's, being the more familiar names.

you want full chromoly everything and sealed double wall wheels, specially being a full grown dude. i always suggest eastern's completes for the budget first complete posts, but others have found pretty good deals as well.

for me tho, i suggest an eastern obviously.
i like this http://www.easternbikes.com/element-2018 . however it's got hi-ten bars which is a bummer. i'll scan around for more when i have time. but for $400, this is a baller ass deal. it's not quite out yet but will be in a couple weeks or so, or you could just call them up. i bet they have them in

I feel I got a little burned by Sunday because I bought an EX complete. They have it described as

Frame: 20.75" Cromo Integrated HT, Wave DT, TT, CS, DO
Fork: 20", Full Cromo 2pc Steerer
Handlebar: 9" OEM Full Cromo

and I was like sweet, that's Cromo everything! But, I didn't realise they hadn't mentioned the seatstays and seat tube until after I bought it...

In general, if a frame is 100% Chromoly, they'll simply say that or "frame: Chromoly". If any manufacturer goes to the trouble to list and individual frame components as Chromoly, that generally means there are other parts of the frame that are not.

If you have the $600+ to spend on the Sunday, I'd say to look around for a full-chromoly bike. There are plenty out there for that price or less. As someone mentioned, you could pick up the Eastern Nagas and buy some after market chromoly bars & still be way under that $600 mark with a full chromoly bike. & Don't forget about the used market. There are several "completes" for sale here on vital for that or less right now that are 100x better than both those bikes you listed.

Jesus...$500 for a Hi Tens complete. That just seems crazy. Keep shopping.

What’s the top of your budget??
The 2018 Mongoose Legion L100 for the cheapest priced full Chromoly (frame, forks, handlebars, cranks, and double wall wheels-this should be what you’re looking for at the minimum)
The Bama and Shovelhead are also good choices if you have a little more to spend.

If your buying from Argentina then go for the WTP Crysis 21"

Or having imported from Chainreactioncycles maybe the Subrosa Malum 2018 21"
