What are you guys thoughts on the new wethepeople smuggler seat and socket seat post? I think it looks cool but not sure about dropping 20-30 extra bucks on it.

It's a cool idea but to me it just seems like a gimmick. IMO

I don't know about the seat, but the seatpost (with 17mm pipe key) is super igenious, not really usefull if you got tools in the bag, but when i go out just for an hour or something, i just take a multi- allen key (in case the bar slip forward or anything else) and that's all, and i like to have the possibility of remove my wheels, to reput them correctly or simply tight my chain .(one day i was riding, did a violent trick and the rear wheel was stomp on the bases, i had a long walk to home, this will never happens anymore)

I can see the idea being good but I wouldn't keep more than MAYBE tools in there if I was locking the bike up. I have a wallet for money.
I drive to the parks and rarely ride street so the idea is neat but lost on me mostly.
