Redoing a lot of my bike, currently i have all black parts but i was thinking about putting on chrome bars and seat post with, oil slick forks and stem, then leaving the rest black. But i cant decide if that will look good

no oilslick forks. they look terible. my friend has them. oil slick stem/sprocket seatpost would look good though

Indeed. I have yet to see one. Colony and snafu are the best bets though

Colony does.

In my opinion though, too much oil slick looks ugly. I saw someone's bike all black with oil slick small parts like the seat post, stem, and sprocket I think and that looked good.

I prefer the classic black and chrome of mid school, but thats just me. do what you feel.

I have all chrome, and if I was building a setup and have frivolous amounts of money, I would do a completely oil slick setup, just because a lot of people hate it. I got all chrome when people thought it was "ugly" or bad or whatever, because I KNEW it would be easy to spot if stolen, and it looks good. Plus chrome is more durable than standard paint when it comes to basic scratches etc.
