What does it mean to oppo on a bike

It means doing something your unnatural way. Like an oppo 360 means 360ing your unnatural direction. Or grinding on your unnatural side.

Some people call it switch. But they're wrong.

I call it's switch just cause "switch wallride" or something of the like feels like it rolls off the tongue easier. A lot of people use them interchangeably anyway nowadays, but yeah you're correct.

Switch is when you switch your footing to do a trick, as in if you ride right foot forward and do a 180, that's a regular 180. If you switch your footing to left foot forward and do the 180, it'd be a switch 180.


Oppo is when you do something the opposite way you'd normally do it, meaning if you grind on the left naturally and do a feeble grind on your left, that'd be a regular feeble. If you do it on the right instead, that's an oppo feeble.
